How To Change Password?
A member can change the self password by following Update Member Info link listed in the left side navigation bar.
How To Sign In?
This product is not Sign In centric, so there is no separate Sign In present in the home page. The product prompt member to Sign In when the user requests an action that requires authentication. Any Update or Add action (Update Member Info, Update Where Abouts, Add Site Data) needs Member Authentication and if user not Signed in, it prompts for login.
How To Create New Member?
Follow the Add Site Content link in the left side navigation bar to get into Add Site Content page, there select the Add Member link to create new member. Only the member with Administration rights can only add new members to the group.
How To Add Site Data?
Follow the Add Site Content link in the left side navigation bar to get into Add Site Content page. There select New Site Data link to add the site data. The added site data will be reviewed and its status should be set to active in order to view as Site Data.
How To Add/Update News Bar Data?
Follow the Add Site Content link in the left side navigation bar to get into Add Site Content page. To add News Bar entry, select Add News Bar Entry link. To update existing News Bar entry, select Review Site Data link and follow proper filter to find and edit the entry. To add spaces in the news bar entry use [&space;] exclude brackets. Only the member with Administration rights can only add and review the site data.
How To Add/Update Where Abouts, Add/Update Contact Info, Add/Update Vacation Info?
Follow the Update Where Abouts link in the left side navigation bar to add or update your contact info. To add or update your vacation info, goto Add Site Content page and select Update Vacation Info.
How To Add Diary Data, Add Marital Info, Add Child Info?
Follow Add Site Content link in the left side navigation bar to get into Add Site Content page. There select Add Diary Entry link to add an entry to Diary, select Add Marital Info to add Marital Information, and select Update Child Info link to add new child Information.
How To Add M-Page, Map M-Page?
To add M-Page, first need to create fully qualified M-Page (XML format) and should place in M-Pages directory. Contact your moderator about more details, moderator help carries the M-Page (XML doc) format and the M-Page directory location. To map added M-Page, select Update Member Info in Add Site Content Page and selecte corresponding M-Page link for the target Member. Only the member with Administrator rights can only map M-Page.
How To Update Member Info?
Follow the Update Member Info link in the left side navigation bar to update Member Info.
How To Archive Site Data?
Follow the Add Site Content link in the left side navigation bar to get into Add Site Content page. There select Review Site Data link and set status of the site data entry to "ARCHIVED". Only the member with Administration rights can only archive the site data.
How To View Site Data?
Currently Site Data is of two types, one is Fresh Page Data, second is Chatter Box Data. Any visitor can view the Fresh Page (home page) by selecting Fresh Page from left side navigation bar and view Chatter Box by selecting Chatter Box from left side navigation bar.
How To View Site Data Archives?
If there are any archives present, archived site data links will be displayed in site data pages (Fresh Page and Chatter box) at the bottom with "Browse Archives:" sub heading. There are multiple views to browse through the archives: detail view and summary view. Summary View link will be displayed only when detail view contains multiple pages.
How To View News Bar Data?
Any visitor can view the news bar data at Fresh Page (home page) by selecting Fresh Page from left side navigation bar, atleast one news bar entry should be active to get News Bar displayed at Front Page.
How To View Where Abouts?
Any visitor can view the Where Abouts of any Member, by selecting Where Abouts link in the leftside navigation bar. Where Abouts of an individual can be viewed if the Member is in the list of recently selected Members list or recently logged in member by selecting corresponding sub list of links from left side navigation bar.
How To View M-Page?
Any visitor can view the M-Page of any Member provided the M-Page is added and mapped under target Member. Follow M-Pages link in the left side of the navigation bar, a list of members with M-Pages mapped is displayed and select a member to view corresponding Member M-Page.
How To View Diary?
Follow Diary link in the left side navigation bar, a list of members will be displayed and select a member to view corresponding Member Diary.
How To Administer Site?
Follow Add Site Content in the left side navigation bar to goto Add Site Content Screen. A Member with Administrator rights can administer the site using administration links.
What is Administrator Rights?
Administrator Rights is authentication rights to add and manage site data. A Member with Administrator rights can Add new Members to the site and do everything a Signed In user can do for any Member (target Member) except changing the password of the target Member. Administrator rights allow Member to review site data and make the added site data active for display or Archive to hide. Administrator rights will be set by a Member with Administrator rights in Update Member Info screen.
What is M-Page?
M-Page is a Memorabilia page includes all about the member.
What is Recently Selected Members?
Recently selected Members are the Members recently selected to view their M-Page or Diary data. These Member Info shortcuts will be displayed in left side navigation bar for easy access.
What is Recently Signed In Member?
Recently Signed In member is the one who recently Signed into the site. This member shortcuts will be displayed in left side navigation bar for easy access.
What is Password Privacy?
The password created, changed, or entered will be encrypted by MD5 one way hash algorithms before it start processing, so your password privacy is fully protected at server side.
Why I am being asked to Sign In?
All the Add and Update actions (Update Member Info, Update Where Abouts, Add Site Content) requires Member Authentication. So if you are not Signed In or if your Sign In session expired, it will prompt to Sign In in order to authenticate you.
